I grew up in Morden, Manitoba where I am still residing today. I am married to my husband Kerwin and we have been together for 17 years. We are blessed with two wonderful dogs, Elvis and Daisy who always keep us on our toes. I have been involved in the childcare industry for 14 years. I love working alongside kids and watching them thrive. I am truly blessed to be here at Clover Creek Learning Centre and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me.

Nolan recently graduated from the University of Winnipeg with a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education, along with a Bachelor of Education. Nolan’s gentle and friendly nature has allowed him to connect strongly with kids throughout his life. He has gained vast experiences through his teaching practices, getting the opportunity to teach students from grades K-12 with a wide range of abilities. The experience that has inspired Nolan the most however is his relationship with his nephew Kingston, who is on the Autism Spectrum. Over the last few years, Nolan has been able to practice different teaching strategies with Kingston during their respite sessions together. This experience of working with Kingston, has given Nolan the realization that he would love to focus his education towards more children who are also on the Autism Spectrum.

Nolan is highly motivated and is very excited to be an educator at the Clover Creek Learning Centre. Nolan’s role at the CCLC is to help children on the Autism Spectrum increase their interactive attention span, creating opportunities for future learning and development. He will also provide parents with teaching strategies so that families can continue on this journey while away from the CCLC as well.

If you wish to look further into the CCLC, please book an appointment. Nolan would be happy to show you around the facility and answer any questions you may have about the program.
